In the meantime, I hope Rachel (best friend/maid of honor at my wedding) doesn't mind if I post the drawing I did for her for a present. She commissioned this a loooong time ago (4 years, maybe?) and then, I figure, forgot about the request when it never materialized. It's obviously an old photo, but I didn't want to ask her for a new one because I was hoping to surprise her. I'm fairly happy with how it turned out, although the scan really highlighted the contrast in the drawing -- her nose didn't look that dark in the original.
